comments: Dr. Tkacik is a must. He is scary smart, but he is as down to earth as it gets. He enjoys getting to know students, he likes to drink beer and barbecue. He is cool. He makes a boring subject interesting. |

comments: To say the least, this man is crazy smart...but human. For example, before T-Giving break he made sure everyone had plans, if they didn't they were allowed to show up at his house to eat turkey with his FAMILY! The man is human...His class is interesting, and is one of those class's you will actually enjoy lecture. The tests are tough, but if you study a few hours before the test you will do great. |

comments: Without a doubt my favorite professor! He makes the class so interesting and fun, and you learn so much in his class. His tests are a breeze if you STUDY and go to class. He is the nicest, funniest, most down to earth, awesome professor at SFA! I would recommend him to anyone! |

comments: The best professor to have. You will have to stay the whole time...but he makes it worth it. He makes politics very intersting so if PSC is not your thing then take Tkacik....he will make it somewhat bearable. |

comments: Tkacik is probably the best professor I've ever had. He is more than willing to help you if you need it, and while his tests do require you to study some, he gives really good notes and makes the material interesting. I took him for 141 one last semester and liked him enough to take him again. If you get a chance to take a class from him do it - he's great. |

comments: Be prepared to work hard, but you will also learn a lot. He shows a lot of concern for his students and brings a lot of humor to the classroom as well. This class is not a joke but it's worth the time spent in my opinion, especially if you plan to attend law school. |
