4/22/2002 - rating: 4 out of 5 comments: Most of the stuff in his class is departmental but he is a very nice guy and he grades speeches very fairly. He tends to grade more on the content of your speech instead of how well you speak outloud, so this can be a bonus to some people.
11/20/2004 - rating: 2 out of 5 comments: This guy makes the class harder than a beginning class should be. Requires many things that the other teachers don't. Expect a lot of work. I don't recommend taking this guy but getting a good grade is possible if you work at it.
12/27/2002 - rating: 1 out of 5 comments: Chick is like crazy when it comes to grades. Don't let her fool you by saying that you did a great job because the grades won't always reflect what she says.
12/15/2003 - rating: 1 out of 5 comments: DO NOT TAKE!!!! HE HAS MOOD SWINGS AND HIS CLASS IS HARD. HE TREATS THIS AS IF IT'S YOUR ONLY CLASS. HE ISN'T CONSISTENT WITH THE RULES IN SYLLABUS, WILL TRY TO ENFORCE AT THE END OF SEMESTER. ALSO, CRAMS IN WORK AT END OF SEMESTER. YOU HAVE NO BREAK BETWEEN SPEECHES AND TESTS. TESTS ARE OVER 5-6 CHAPTERS. TESTS ARE MULTIPLE CHOICE, BUT ARE MAINLY APPLICATION QUESTIONS. SPEECH 5 IS WORTH 20% OF GRADE. CLASS IS BASED ON 1000 POINTS! TOUGH GRADER. DO NOT TAKE!
12/16/2004 - rating: 1 out of 5 comments: He is horrible. At first he was really nice, and then he got really really mean and rude. He has really bad mood swings. Huge project at the end of the semester.. don't take him!
