4/24/2003 - rating: 4 out of 5 comments: He is a good teacher and explains things thoroughly. Ignore the smart a** coments he makes, show up to class, and DON'T TALK IN CLASS- he is serious about that rule... Tests were in an easy format, just pay attention and you'll do good.

7/10/2005 - rating: 1 out of 5 comments: He was the most self-centered, arrogant professor I have ever had-- 3/4 of the class he spent talking about himself, and the other 1/4 he contradicted himself and did not explain things well AT ALL. He is good at math but isn't a good teacher. Don't ask questions in class b/c he makes you feel stupid. He explains things in a tone of voice like you should already know the material. My SI leader taught me more than I ever learned during class. If you are not a math major do not take him- SERIOUSLY.

11/6/2002 - rating: 5 out of 5 comments: Fantastic teacher. He wrote the text and teaches just like the text is written. Explains the material extremely well and encourages students to ask questions and come by his office. Probably the best teacher that I've had in any course.
2/26/2004 - rating: 1 out of 5 comments: The guy is a smart a**. He criticizes students in class. He is so self absorbed and probably thinks that he hung the moon. After the first test(some before) more than half the class had dropped.
4/27/2004 - rating: 1 out of 5 comments: This guy is a Richard Gere wannabe. He seems to think it is cool that he knows a lot about gambling, but he's too chicken to actually go to the boats. and he seems to think that he is cool because he can through a dollar out of the window. wow.
6/26/2004 - rating: 3 out of 5 comments: This guy is ok. He's pretty hard. I was failing, but I went to the SI and I was able to make a B in the class. I would talk to him about my grade and he was helpful. But he's not the best teacher. He is rude, and I didn't think he taught very well.

11/6/2002 - rating: 5 out of 5 comments: Wow - a fantastic sourse. This course ties together all of the previous courses and shows how you can use mathematics to solve real problems in the real world. All the other math courses that I've ever taken have been interesting, but I couod never see any use for them. DifEq shows how mathematics can be used to solve problems that you will encounter in your job as a scientist. I highly recommend it.
