comments: Very easy if you attend class. No long essays. A couple easy tests and some short projects. I wasn't looking forward to taking this class, but he made it OK. I made an easy A. |

comments: He said he would help me in the class. I did a essay exam and he said he would let me take it home and do it. I ended up making a 47 on the final. I don't know how i did that because i took everything he said and related it to something in politcal science and my own experiences. I even emailed the first two questions to him to ask if i was doing it right. He said yes. i think he had it in for me. i made a D in his class. And i don't know how. Other wise, he is a good teacher. |

comments: Awesome, the class was so cool. A quiz on Friday not alot of busy work, you come to class listen which is not hard in this man's class because he uses alot of neat examples. He is sociable, on your level and willing to talk to you when ever he can. I had him a year ago and he still remebers my name. If you don't take him you are shooting yourself in the foot.Because the class is not hard, but you honestly do learn ALOT. A MUST TAKE. By the way on this scale he rates about 9. 5 is just to low for such a awesome teacher. |

comments: Very helpful and understanding . You have todo mini-research prjects and two small writing assignments. He is very helpful too. He sat in on a study group we were having and helped us study for the midterm and Final. His test are not that hard either but don't tell him that. I wold recommend this prof to anyone else that has to take psc141. |

comments: Way easy to understand, great teaching methods. The only thing about him is that he will definately keep the class over the time limit of keeping a class...everyday! His tests are so freakin easy. Get this, you buy the packet that has all the notes you'll ever need in it, and there are study practice exams included. The practice exams are just like the test. There is a group presentation that is easy. At the end of the semester, you need to turn in about 4 research papers that are short, but it sucks. If you procrastinate like I did, 4 research papers in one week really bites. Other than that, you're guarenteed and easy grade in his class...PS--Whatever you do, don't take Ms CARNES! |

comments: I wish I would have taken hom the first time instead of Lee Brown. You only have mid-term, final, and 4 or 5 mini-projects. There is no reason you shouldn't pass his class. Oh and don't by the textbook only purchase the notes. I never opened a book and currently have a B. |

comments: If you are conservative, don't take him unless you're looking for an easy A. He's a flaming liberal who sometimes says things that aren't true in order to indoctrinate young minds. |

comments: Very simpathetic to students. He will go out of his way to make sure students have every opportunity needed. Also curves tests and throws out questions that over half the class missed. |
1/7/2003 - rating: 3 out of 5
comments: Interesting class discussions and fairly lenient grading system; based mainly on 2 papers, 2 presentations and the final. However there were no tests during the semester, only a final and we had no daily grades so there wasn't much way to tell where you stood until after the drop date. |
