comments: he is very hard, but will help you if you go to him and ask for help. hes not one that goes out of his way to help you unless you help yourself. his test are hard though and every test is cumulative, however most of his quizzes are fairly easy |

comments: Challenging, but I learned a lot in the course. If you are interested in learning statistics, then this is the man to take. I enjoyed his lectures and he was very professional and FAIR. I highly recommend him. |

comments: DO NOT TAKE HIM! I AM EXCELLENT AT MATH AND TOOK HIM AND MADE A F. I RE-TOOK THE COURSE WITH MCCUNE AND MADE AN A. THIS GUY CANNOT TEACH AND WILL PUT AMBIGUOUS PROBLEMS ON THE EXAM. NO CURVE.NO EXCEPTION. I ALSO TOOK HIM AT THE SAME TIME FOR FINITE AND MADE A D. I RETOOK THAT WITH FLEET AND MADE AN A. I PROMISE YOU WILL FAIL! HE KNOWS HIS STUFF BUT CANNOT TEACH! |

comments: Fagan is not a great teacher as far as class lectures. The tests and quizzes are extremely hard and confusing. If you do take this class...I suggest that you go talk to him as offten as possible. |

comments: This was the hardest math class i have ever taken. He writes his notes straight from the book, but its not even the book that you have to buy. His tests are very hard and the problems are confusing. You do get to replace one test grade with the final, but that doesnt help because your grades to low and your gonna fail no matter what you do. You dont get any help on the exams you must know all the formulas and the hundreds of ways he can ask questions. IF YOU TAKE THIS CLASS YOU WILL FAIL |

comments: Very good teacher...grades fairly...there is an si leader in the class and he is very helpful. I would go to si if you take fagan...overall his class is boring, (notes everyday) but not too difficult, I am not strong in math and ended up with a B, almost an A. Take him! I have hear horror stories about the alternatives!! |
