Very good teacher. He gives essay tests that are fairly hard, but if you study, they aren't too bad. You learn a lot in his class

He is a very good teacher! You only have 3 tests and a quiz like every other week. His lectures are easy to follow, and his tests come straight from the notes. You only have to read over them a couple times to study. There are reading assignments but you are hardly tested over any of it. I never read and I did fine.

Very nice guy, but his lectures usually end up with you filling 4 - 6 pages of notes per class. Exams are ONLY written responses (blue books) and they are pretty difficult. Also, expect a LOT of reading, close to about 80 pages per week (big books with small print, no less). Try to take someone else, but he is not THAT bad.

He is one of the best history professors you'll take on this campus. One of his main theories in teaching a course is to offer you both sides of a viewpoint in a particular part of history, and allow you to make up your mind on who, or what you believe was right or wrong.
